Pan, Downcast

Pan a Muslim boat dweller from Phnom Penh strolling on a “beach” of sand dredged up from the Mekong River.

The tonal values you see are a direct result of the experimental film cross processing and custom drum scanning done by myself.

This is another image from the Of Rivers and Mantras series which was exhibited in New York and Phnom Penh. The Fisherwoman, image shot near Vientiane, Laos is from the same series portraying life along the Mekong River.
