These two images were taken in the late afternoon at the Kompong Khleang floating village of the Tonle Sap Lake and are a diptych of sorts. They were both shot on the same day and feature a similar approach to image composition that I refer to as "sliding quadrants". The sensation of being both locked into the space and feeling decentered at the same time is imparted. A similar approach was taken with my Embrace image but in a completely different context.
